I paint what I see in my head. No need to take photographs to be intimidated by. What's important is just a picture that responds to a viewer and is not over-worked with unnecessary detail. Keeping it simple and maybe evoke a smile.         That's all.

About Me

I work in oils on canvas, panels and paper, acrylics on panels or canvas and gouache on paper or gessoed board. Subject matter is conceived from my imagination and oftentimes has a humorous or whimsical touch. Landscapes  and buildings are not necessarily defined, but are rather painted to instill a mood or a remembrance  or feeling of having been someplace similar. I'm motivated by the expectations of what lies ahead in my pursuit. To quote Walt Disney, "Time is getting on and I still have things left to do. I don't want to go back and cover the same ground."
